Organic Growth within Existing Accounts Coupled with New Clients Stimulates Ongoing Success

Advanced Technology Consulting (ATC) experienced record revenues in 2015 for the third consecutive year. Both regional offices—Hartford, CT and Cincinnati, OH—exceeded previously held revenue highs. Over the last three fiscal years (2013-2015), ATC has onboarded large national and multi-location accounts and seen those accounts grow while additional new clients have engaged ATC.

The driving force: niched technical expertise in telecom and a network of over 100 providers, giving ATC a unique solution-agnostic, consultative approach. With the convergence of IT and telecom, “telecom” has come to mean so much more than simply local and long distance phone service. Today, ATC helps C-level executives with voice and data network services, VoIP phone systems, unified communications, cloud services, and business continuity.

Darren DeMartino leads the Connecticut office and David Goodwin the Ohio office.

Notable, existing clients helping drive three years of record revenues for ATC include LAZ Parking, Mike’s Carwash, Sleepy’s, Herb Chambers, St. Elizabeth Physicians, Wabtec, Graeter’s, XPO Logistics (NYSE: XPO) and Jeff Wyler Automotive. Notable new client’s onboarded in 2015 include Eagle Financial Services, The Henry Hotel, Camargo Pharmaceutical Services, Casella Waste Management, Episcopal Retirement Homes, Vya Marketing and Warsaw Federal.

Solution Agnostic, Telecom-Specific Counsel

“Cloud and IP-based technologies have created a complex landscape of scaled services and outsourced solutions,” says DeMartino. “Clients know that with our expertise and portfolio of providers, we will help them sift through the technical complexities of different services to find the right solution for them.”

“It is rare that a single provider can fill all the requirements of a complex, multi-location network,” adds Goodwin. “Most providers have core competencies that they do well for certain industry segments in certain geographic regions. Combining unbiased expertise with the ability to offer a wide array of provider services is a unique combination, and an indispensable asset to organizations of all sizes.”

A prime endorsement for ATC’s practice innovation came in early 2015 through its selection by Channel Partners magazine as a winner for the second consecutive year of the Channel Partners 360° Business Value Award. In order to win, ATC demonstrated “how they are addressing the convergence of IT and telecom services and how they are creating business value for their customers.”

ATC’s work for LAZ Parking characterized the kind of business value recognized by the Channel 360° award. ATC’s award nomination spotlighted LAZ Parking and its engagement with Darren DeMartino, ATC Co-Founder and Managing Partner, which included a total rework and optimization of their wireless, MPLS, POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service), and broadband services.

In 2015, ATC was also recognized and selected by Cincy Magazine as a winner in its first annual Cool Tech Awards. The Cool Tech Awards program celebrates companies with innovative approaches to doing cool things with technology. ATC was also nominated for the Hartford, CT, Business Champions award, produced by the Hartford Business Journal and the MetroHartford Alliance.
