Set to Expand and Relocate into New Greater Cincinnati Office
Two Years of Record Revenue, Influx of New Clients = Space Demand

Mason, OH, April 14, 2015—David Goodwin’s never had far to get to work. The managing partner and co-founder of ATC Inc., a fast-growing telecom consultancy offering professional expertise in cloud technologies, voice and data networks, contract negotiation, expense management and business continuity, has built a successful organization literally in his own basement.

The home-cooked launch has given way to tremendous growth over the years, bolstered by the signature ATC mantra: provide clients with carrier-neutral, solution-agnostic expertise, while packing the highest levels of customer service and support. Often clients, such as Jeff Wyler Automotive and Trustaff of Cincinnati, realize five- to six-figure savings over the term of their voice, data and/or cloud contracts. In the last 12 months alone, ATC Cincinnati has negotiated approximately $10 million in total telecom service contracts.

Earlier this year, ATC launched a Greater Cincinnati-wide site search for ~5,000 square feet of office space to accommodate the company’s first office facility, more than doubling the space in use since Goodwin opened ATC in 1999. Employing a half-dozen locally in Cincinnati, ATC is looking to hire at least two new employees now, with possibly another two new hires when the office opens. The new space will feature a telecom “showroom,” showcasing the latest technology. A target date hasn’t been set, but ATC expects to finalize its location and move into its new office in 2015, targeted for late summer, early fall.

“We’ve looked at a number of locations, at some very attractive spaces and properties, with an emphasis on northeastern Cincinnati,” said Goodwin. Goodwin launched the company with partner, Darren DeMartino, who operates an ATC office in Hartford, CT. “This new space—within our first traditional office environment here in Cincinnati—will allow us to host more clients, conduct more in-depth demos, and carry on simultaneous but separate meetings. We will be bigger, stronger, and best-equipped to help organizations navigate what can be a particularly nuanced and complicated telecom-cloud industry.”

What ATC does is help clients such as Graeter’s, Jeff Wyler Automotive, Sheakley, St. Elizabeth Physicians, Mike’s Carwash, Lykins Energy and Trustaff, all well-known names in Cincinnati business, cut through all the clutter in the ever-evolving information age. ATC specializes in VoIP, bandwidth and cloud services, all critical IT items clamoring for the attention of mid-market business owners and their IT personnel, not to mention enterprises that spend thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, monthly on telecom services.

“And here’s the thing: your everyday business owner – as well as the major corporations – absolutely KNOW they are not getting the full value out of their voice and data services, whether it be cost savings or simply the right products and services to meet their goals. And, they are not sure how to approach the situation with a comprehensive strategy. As a result, everything gets piece-mealed together or purchased in silos,” Goodwin said. “At ATC, strategic tech and telecom decisions are all we do, catering to our holy trinity of three powerful converging forces: VoIP, cloud and bandwidth.”

“We have 41 auto franchises spread across 14 locations. We’re in the business of selling cars,” says Jeff Wyler from Jeff Wyler Automotive. “With ATC acting as a single point of contact, conducting the upfront legwork, and providing budgetary projections, we have been able to make informed decisions regarding our voice and data services. ATC has taken a tremendous load off of us. It has been a huge time savings.”
